Remedial Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy
What is Remedial Massage?
Remedial massage is the assessment and specific treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in health, rehabilitation, pain and injury management.
Your treatment is totally individualised and designed to bring relief and relaxation, enhanced performance and rejuvenation. Following assessment, your plan of treatment is agreed and completed using a variety of specialised techniques. This may not be a full body massage. A recommended after care program will be provided.
How often do I need treatment?
The number and frequency of treatments will vary according to each individual condition. Your therapist will discuss your individual program. Generally 2-3 treatments will usually relieve the worst of your discomfort. Fortnightly treatments are then recommended until there is no discomfort between treatments. Once stabilised a monthly treatment is recommended.
